May has come and gone and here at MHV Cambodia it has been go go go.
Teaching has progressed at a pace in all classes and the students are displaying a great interest in all lessons. We are continuing with our programme of health awareness lessons on a Friday and this is proving to be of great value to the students in understanding personal health issues and the need for cleanlness. Also the fruit friday is very popular with the benefits being linked to the health awareness lessons.
Our bathroom construction at the Volunteer house is now complete and functioning. It is tiled inside but we will wait to paint the exterior whilst the building drys out. The painters are currenly at the school preparing inside and out for a complete re paint. It is estimated that this will take about 7 days +.

We have had our first volunteers at the project and also 2 other visitors. Welcome donations of time, clothing, paint and money have been given. Thank you all.

Mr Sophach has attended a course in Siem Reap City on Child Protection. This has proved to be a valuable insight. He also met with volunteers visiting Siem Reap attending the course. We have been fortunate to have contact with ConCertcambodia.org who arranged the course and we continue to maintain contact with them for future courses, discussion and mutual development.
