Time goes by very quickly at MHVc and we have now completed our first six months successfully, There are always new challneges and we meet them head on.

1. Teacher Vong who started with us in May 2012 has now moved on to other assignments. He has been replaced by Mr Samnang on 3 months probation. We wish Mr Samnang a happy time with MHVc.

2. Final term exams were held at end August 2012. All students particpated and gave of their best. We send congratulations to the top six students (6 girls), come on boys you can do better. A celebration and prize giving was held at school.

3. We have lost our original grade 6 students who have progressed to secondary school. We have a new intake of 70 students. This is the beginning of our first full school year and Sophach and the teachers have a full year course based on New Headway Beginners book for the students.

4. The events in Spain, Dinner/dance and Fashion show were well attended and raised between them over $1000 US.

5. One of our volunteers, Kate from Australia, held music event in Manly (Sydney) and raised over $3000. Away you go Kate, thanks from us all. Another volunter from UK, Jane, raised $600 Us by completing the Manchester bike ride in June. Jane has returned to UK and will be “sorely missed”.

6. Here at MHVc we continue to work for all villagers and students in Svaychanto, Prasat and Plung villages. As ever we so grateful to the support shown by all our donors and volunteers. Big Thank you!
